Changes needed to Indian Politics

India is a democratic state in theory but in practical it is slowly becoming dynasty rule. We did get rid of Raja, The Kings, but now we have even bigger Maharajas, super kings. To overcome this and to be fair to every citizen we need to make changes to the Indian Politics. My suggestion is that every citizen must ask to his or her representative to implement these changes.
The first and foremost change need is limit to the term. No person can hold the post of President, Prime Minister, or any other minister more than TWO times in life time. This will give new people with new ideas to come and bring changes.
Second much needed change is a limit on the contest. Any person can only contest an election up to five time in a life time. A person who is rejected multiple times by people can not keep contesting just to win once by chance.
A Person can not contest an election if his or her blood relation or spouse is holding a post in government or is an elected member.
We need a police clearance for any job in government, but why we do not need a police clearance to hold a post of lawmaker? I think it is a good idea to have a police clearance certificate attached to the nomination papers. People who have clear report can file the nomination immediately but people who has cases registered against them  can only file when the election commission is satisfied, after a review, that there is no serious case registered against them.
No person can be elected to or appointed a post before contesting the election, unless there is an emergency situation. Also the posts where such appointments can be done in emergency will include Prime Minister, Home minister and finance minister only.
The election commissioner must publish the life history of all the candidates in the leading news paper prior to the election including their financial position. People have right to know about the candidates from a third party.
At present the only qualification to contest an election is to be an Indian citizen. This must be changed as soon as possible. A person who wants to contest an election MUST either be a income tax payer, or owner of a piece of land, or owner of a business or should be paying a property tax besides being an Indian citizen. These conditions must also be fulfilled to have a right of vote. The person who does not contribute to the economy of a country must not have a right of vote.
When making a big decision the government must consult the public. Just because they are elected persons they will take all the decisions per the people's desire. In fact they mostly take decision as per their desires and benefits.
A person who does not pay his or her bills on time, does not keep the promises or does not speak the truth should not be allowed to contest and must file an affidavit to that effect.
All the candidate MUST open a separate bank account which must solely be used to pay for all the expenses through cheque and receive funding. The statements of these accounts must also be published and be accessible to the public on demand.
All the coalition should be in paper before the election and no one should be allowed after the election. If the coalition does not last for the entire duration. then the fresh election should not be called, instead the President or the Governor must run the government with the appointed persons from the party with most elected persons for basic ministries only.
The election commission must have power to de-register a political party whose members talks about Religion, cast or Province.
At last people must have the power to recall an elected member.

Rape and Indian Women

When I see the recent past to evaluate which direction my country is going, I, and any body else too, can note the significant rise in crime against women.
The present day economic and life situations force many ladies to leave home at abnormal hours. The more they are out in the lonely hours and place more they are prone to these crimes.
The surge in all these crime also point to many other reasons, but the foremost reason in my understanding is the delayed justice. Criminals know that there are so many loop holes in the present day justice system, that they can certainly delay the justice if not avoid. The advocates also play an equal part in delaying the justice through various tactics. Even in the cases where the culprit is evident or there are witness to the case the lawyers can easily accept these criminals as there clients and do there best effort, and use their all law intelligence to free the client from the claws of law.

Now the question: is there any morality left in the Lawyers? if not why they are allowed to misuse there knowledge? What the governing council does to prevent this?

Should the common public be a mere spectator of all these? No. Obviously not. First thing that must be understood in the Indian context is that we need to make our own laws and system. We can not live long on the borrowed things. The British philosophy of let go hundred of criminals but not punish any innocent should be thoroughly reviewed.  I think is should be the other way around. No criminal should be able to skip even if you unknowingly punish hundred innocent. This will create the fear of justice in criminals and will prevent them to commit any crime.

Also there should be a time limit set for the conviction. No court should allow the trial of more than three months. The Maximum time for a case at supreme court should be one year. There might be the cases where the verdict may be wrong but as I said there will to too many less cases due to the fear of Law.

The responsibility also lies with the general public. They must ask there representative what are they doing to save the interest of general public. Mind it that all these elected persons are just your representative. The can not and should not make any decision just because they like, They must observe the sentiment of the public and must consult the public.

People must also understand that politics is that colour of life that effects every individual and every colour of life. So never avoid the politics, be a part of it. Be a guide of it, be a guiding force of the politics.

Corporate Greed

At the start of the industrial revolution man started making things to his need but now need is being created as per business required. Businesses do not care is it is affecting the health and wealth of general public. Business only needs money and wants to see the graph of business going up year after year. Top managers are hired and their rewards are subjected directly to the financial growth of the business. Managers in turn try everything to achieve the target. People are misled. Money is spent in the name of research to establish desired results. Means are found to cut the cost and increase the profitability. Advertisement is done to attract to the people to the unhealthy habits. Like the use of cellulose in various food items.

These business people can make any propaganda they want. They say it is only human who drinks milk after he is grown. Correct, because he has the opportunity to do so. They should not forget that if given a chance Cat, dog and other animals can drink milk despite their age. And if this suggest that we should do what animals do then we should stop smoking and drinking as animals do not do it.

There is also an advertisement that says cows are harmful as their farting has a damaging effect on ozone. Question is why cow only? Another animals including Man do fart so should we send them all to slaughter house?

There is a ban on farmers in Canada to sell their milk production to the general public directly. The logic it is harmful for humans. This is not the fact. It is actually harmful for Businesses. The milk is sent to the dairies and then cream, is separated from it. That's how business makes double profit on milk. When a manufacturer is allowed to sell its produce to whomsoever he wants then why the farmers are deprived of? Milk and other farm produce are the produce of farmer and has full right to sell it. Now if government is afraid of infection then it should educate people how to use it. Milk is consumed by scores of people worldwide but how many cases of infection is heard. There had been cases of infection of ecoli from spinach or meat so why not we stop it too. People are developing diseases from cigarette so why not to stop it too.

This is not going to happen because the democratic government who was by the public and for the public is now By the public and for the business. The aim of business should be the fulfillment of the needs not the growth at the cost of public.

Religion Does Not Divide

Right from childhood I was taught that religion teaches harmony. It does not divide. I accepted as it was taught but when I grew up I found that this is probably the greatest lie. It is actually the religion which divides the world, the country and the region. Many countries we just divided because there were more than one religion. Looks like religion has a supremacy over country and region.

History is witness that one religion had a hatred towards others, through the followers of that religion. Every religion says that their religion is supreme, and the holy wars are fought in the name of religion. History tells us about the war of Crusaders, which was fought for more than 500 years. A lot of Hindus and Jews were killed because they refused to convert to the religion of invaders. These invaders destroyed a lot of valuable knowledge and artifacts of one civilization without even wasting a second for thought.

All the religion preaches that God is one then why we are divided? Is it because the religion is different or rituals are different. Do we think that the common man is so intelligent that he will understand the basic concept of religion? When the clerics spit fire to boost their followers against other humans do they ever think about the universality of religion. I think the sanskrit word "Dharm" has no equivalency in the world. Dharm means the latent nature. Like the Dharm of fire is to Burn. The dharma of man is to be merciful, honest, kind not only to the fellow humans but also to the fellow living beings. It is the dharm of man not to take more than one's need from the nature. Dharm is Universal. My dharma should not only be applicable to me but to others in the same way. If sorrow and grief brings tears to my eyes, will do so to others' eye too. If my hunger is satisfied by food so will yours. This is the universality of Dharm. God has made only one Dharm. All the men, I would say all the living creatures, feels the sorrow, joy, satisfaction and lust the same way. All the creatures feel the comfort and discomfort the same way. Then why we discriminate the others on the basis of the origin or the rituals of the other religion.

Life can not be monotonous. And we won't even like it if it is so. you will not feel joy if you never had sorrow. You will never feel the value of money if you have never seen the poverty. Here comes the law of coexistence. Even in nature, every creature, despite their size shape and capacity, has contributed to the evolution.

It looks that the basic nature of the man is divisive. If he will not find other religion to fight, he will fight among his own religion, on the basis of sects, castes, place or way of worship.

We think and believe that the modern man is very intelligent and progressive, but what I find in practice that the man has never changed. He still follows the instructions and books from the people who never had a proper education ever. I do not think those old people were wiser than present humans. If they were, they would have made computer, cars, or at least a pen to write those books. But no they had no idea about this. Their teaching may be good at that time but not in present era.The entire earth is now becoming like a village. Humans are moving from one place to other, from one country to other. Then why we still carry our nature of discrimination and having blind faith on the books that were written centuries ago.

World Population

Very recently, the world was celebrating the new high of the population growth. The world population has increased many folds in past decades. In the last centuries man has controlled a lot of epidemics that was responsible of controlling the world population. Cholera, plague and such diseases were major cause of checking the abrupt growth of the population, but when man developed the vaccines for these killer diseases, there should have some policy devised to control the population, but it did not happened. The result is Population explosion. This affected most to the third world nations. This is because of mass illiteracy and negligence. There was already a population explosion before the government could even understand its impact. Also in many countries it was not exercised either because of the religious reasons or the government's indifferent attitude. In many countries this population is considered as vote bank. So no one even thinks of controlling this population.

There are many people who are, in one form or other, against the population control. They argue that the power to have children or not should rest with the individuals.  If this is accepted then the role of the government is nullified. If the people decide how many children they want then the government should also adopt the policy of providing free vaccines and maternity care only limited to the birth child. If the individual decides to have more children then either let him bear the cost or let nature play its role.

The question that is asked by many is whether the earth can bear the load of exploding population or not. This is not the proper question. The question is whether man has the authority to use all means to their benefit? Do the other living beings have the right to live or not? In the past two centuries world has already lost some species and is on the verge of loosing other due to exploitation or invading their habitats.

World organizations and the developed countries give aid for vaccines and food without any say in the population. It may be because of the business needs but they should understand that this is going to affect them one day. The correct procedure should be to extending help only to the governments who promise to implement the population policy and take measure to control it.

In the theory of Population, Malthus has stated that if humans do not control the population by themselves then the nature does control the population which is very painful. Hence the human must take measures to control the population and all families in the world should stick to the one child policy till the population of the world is reduced substantially.

Beaware of Modi, Be aware Bharat

Recently I was reading the daily news on Yahoo which I am reproducing here in its original form with the questions the countrymen may ask. My questions and comments are in Italics New Delhi, July 12 (ANI): Cutting across party lines, several politicians and leaders by and large condemned Gujarat Chief Minister and probable BJP prime ministerial aspirant Narendra Modi for his comments on various topical issues, including his alleged role in the Godhra riots of 2002, given during an interview to Reuters. National leaders. Huh! These are so called national leaders who think only about themselves. Modi's comment on the riots and his claim that the courts of the land have so far exonerated him of involvement in the various incidents also drew the ire of political leaders. (why these jackals do not want to talk about the sikh rights. Where is Jagdish Tytler and other congressi Gundas A majority of them rubbished his claim that India's Supreme Court, (do they mean to say that Supreme court is biased as it is not giving the verdict these people want?) considered to be one of the good courts in the modern era, had created a special investigative team (SIT) with senior and very bright officers, and that in their report, he had been given a "thoroughly clean chit" as far the Godhra riots were concerned. They also rejected his statement of being a nationalist and a patriotic Hindu. Janata Dal-United leader Shivanand Tiwari described Modi as a person who was mentally ill and unwell, and warned that it would be unfortunate if he became India's next Prime Minister. (Actually it was really unfortunate that Nehru became the Prime minister) "A person commenting like this is not well. It will be unfortunate if he becomes the PM of the country. Even I am a Hindu (Really?). But, what is the need to say that I am a Hindu and I am proud of it," asked Tiwari. (right you can listen Pakistan Zindabad in Muradabad and Kashmir and go to Iftar parties to lick the ass of muslim leaders) "This country has 80 percent Hindus ( and that is why you work against majority. Democracy = Majority). With these kind of statements, this country is bound to break-up ( and what kind of statement made Pakistan?). The initiatives taken by the BJP are in Modi's hands," he added. Tiwari was commenting on Modi's statement that he was a nationalist and a patriotic person who was born Hindu. (is there anything wrong in being Hindu, Pariotic and Nationalist? I think it is better than becoming a congressmen) Modi had said that there was nothing wrong in being a Hindu nationalist. "So, yes, you can say I'm a Hindu nationalist because I'm a born Hindu. I'm patriotic, so, nothing is wrong in it," Modi said. (and he is right, a person living in Poland is Polish, living in Britain is British, same way person living in Hindustan is a HINDU. ) Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Aggarwal said that the Godhra riots of 2002 were the creation of the Gujarat government,( and who were behind the burning of the Train, who were the people shouting the anti India slogans) and it ridiculous to even think that Modi, being a chief minister, was actually pained by the death and destruction caused by the mayhem then. "The riots in 2002 were on the orders of the (Gujarat) Government (and the sikh riots were on the order of congress government. Right?). The investigations have made everything clear. The culprit is clear. (Hahaha, Where a girl is shot in front for people by the son of a congress leader you say it is not clear. But while the Gujrat was nurning and you were sleeping with your mistress, you know it is all clear.) This is and has been an independent investigation," Aggarwal said. Communist Party of India (CPI) leader A.B. Bardhan said: "If this is how a chief minister talks about their responsibilities, then he is playing with the people and their sentiments." (commuinist party must see into their own deeds. These people will not utter anything when girls are rapes openly in Khidirpur, and their support to china during china war) Reacting to Modi's statement that as a driver of a car, even if a puppy comes under the wheel, it will be painful and sad, Bardhan said: "This is not possible that he is sitting in his car and he does not know who the driver is?" (Aaha! Did you know who was behind the massacre of people in Singur?) Bardhan categorically said that Modi is trying to change his image, (He does not need to, but you two faced man for sure) but refused to back away from his long-held views that Narendra Modi is a divisive element and that the BJP is a communal party He questioned Modi over talking about Hindu nationalism (Why don’t you talk about islami nationalism and plight of Hindus in Pakistan) Gujarat Congress leader Arjun Modhwadia accused Modi of perpetrating a conspiracy at both the state and national through his comments. (Sorry He should not do this, This is the copy right of Congress) "He is doing this conspiracy since a long time, and it is for the sake of votes. He says that he is the leader of a particular community. Today, the BJP can't go forward without Modi. This is unfortunate for the BJP and the country," Modhwadia said. ( and what did Rajiv do in Shahbano case? You anti India, Anti Women rascals) Delhi Janata Dal-United leader Sabir Ali accused Modi of perpetrating a form of separation in the name of caste (OK Dear what will you say in case of Owasi?) "His thinking cannot be changed. He is also a citizen of the country. The country can never accept such a person. Nitish Kumar (Bihar's Chief Minister) never allowed Narendra Modi to enter Bihar in eight years of his incumbency," said Ali.( Ya, Right. He did not get time as he was busy allowing the Gangrapes and Train dacoity in Bihar. ) The political leaders were unanimous in their view that Modi is a polarising figure, evoking visceral reactions across the political spectrum. (All are badly scared because if Modi becomes priminister these people will start looking for asylum.) Modi said that people have a right to be critical of him in a democratic country. "Everyone has their own view. I would feel guilty if I did something wrong. Frustration comes when you think "I got caught. I was stealing and I got caught." That's not my case," he told the foreign news agency during the course of his interview at his official Gandhinagar residence. (ANI) Modi fight for India, People are with you!

Revolution Needed

I was thinking about the Political environment of India.

I noticed that the political parties are pointing the figures on other parties, criticize and blame them about the  present condition of India.

Some of the new entrants are criticizing the earlier leaders of pre 1947 era blame congress for division and other problems of Bharat and congress label them as communal or sectarian.

In all these allegations and counter allegations Bharat is lost somewhere. No leader even takes the pain to discuss about Bharat.

Most of the leaders in most of the political parties have just become the opportunist. They will use all the tactics to gain, regain and retain seats in the ministry. The will keep on making the statements and most of their time is wasted in non productive and money making activities.

British has a clear policy of divide and rule. They divided countries and communities to their benefit. Congress  started using the same politics and tactics after british. After Indra and Rajeev were gone, congress had to battle for the leader and most of the time the leader were appointed and not elected. Ironically biggest party of the biggest democracy has no internal democracy.

We are still using and misusing the rules and regulation of British that was formulated to benefit them. Why a secular country has a column "Religion" on most if not all government forms? Whey a country which advocates the caste less society has a column of "Caste"  on most if not all government forms?

The question is where are we lacking?

We lack in our mindset. We lack in our determination. We lack in our unity. Why we need to ask our own countrymen if he or she is Punjabi, Bengali or Tamil. Why we are not Indians.

The time has come for a revolution. The time has come where you should ask questioning your representative. You have given the power to them. Like in any delegation of power you have the right to ask your representative and account them for their deeds and remove them if needed.

A code of conduct is needed for the all countrymen and for all post.

A new start is needed for a new India.
